Excursion at the historic Woodside

Visiting Woodside Biodiversity Education Centre (Woodside) not only takes you on a journey to explore the biodiversity of Hong Kong, but also a glimpse of the past in this historical building. Discovering first-hand the historical and cultural values behind the main building of Woodside and the vicinity will let you have a vivid picture of the lesser-known stories of Mount Parker.

20 pax per tour (Each participant can reserve up to a quota of 2 each time. Each email shall be registered once only.)

Travel by public transport to King's Road, Quarry Bay. Walk up along Mount Parker Road beside the Quarry Bay Municipal Services Building for 15 minutes.


Notes to Applicants :

  1. Participants aged below 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 
  2. Places are allocated by balloting and each participant can only take part in one tour.
  3. Successful candidates will be notified by email within 5 working days after the enrolment deadline. Other applicants will be placed on a waiting list.
  4. Pay attention to the weather report and forecast on the hiking day. The event will be cancelled without prior notice when any tropical cyclone, rainstorm or thunderstorm warning is hoisted two hours prior to the assembly time on the event day. The Organiser reserves the right to call off the event under inclement weather condition.
  5. The Organiser reserves the right to terminate the activity under unforeseeable adverse weather condition.

Personal Data Collection Statement

The personal information is provided by you voluntarily for relevant activities organized by Agriculture, Fisheries and Conservation Department. The information will be provided to relevant staff for application processing, contact and other relevant purposes. Provided that there are no specific administrative reasons, only the name of the participant will be kept for record purpose. Except with the consent of participants, all the personal information collected will be destroyed within 6 months after the activities. For enquiries or amendment to the information provided, please send us a written request (Please quote the activity name or the reference number in the request). If applicant does not provide sufficient, accurate and clear information, the application may not be processed.
